DollarsDirect is Now a Member of the Canadian Payday Loan Association

DollarsDirect recently became a member of the Canadian Payday Loan Association (CPLA). The CPLA works with governments toward a national regulatory framework that will allow for a viable payday loan industry and protect consumers. The CPLA isn’t your typical industry association. It doesn’t fight regulation; it works towards regulation in order to provide consumers with a fair product. The CPLA is a leader in best business practices and consumer protection.

As a member, DollarsDirect has pledged to follow the CPLA’s Code of Best Business Practices, which were developed through close consultation with government officials and consumer advocates. By following this code, DollarsDirect can ensure that all consumers will be treated fairly and with respect. DollarsDirect clearly discloses all fees and charges, maximum interest charges, fair collection practices and customer privacy as part of its best business practices.
